FERNDALE - One month after the Ferndale Downtown Development Authority temporarily shelved its controversial Principal Shopping District tax on downtown businesses, it has succeeded in passing a new - albeit much smaller - tax.

(Cristina Sheppard Decius - DDA executive director) .. assured everyone that the PSD tax would not be going away for good: "We still believe the PSD (tax) is the way to go," she said.

If you haven't already, visit Ferndale115, a new online publication that comes out on the 1st and 15th of every month (hence the name).

The economy being what it's been, FerndaleOnline hasn't had the resources to keep the site updated.  That being the case, we want to remind everybody to take time enjoying the bi-monthly Ferndale Friends newsmagazine.
